The Tech We Want, a project of Omidyar Network, champions a responsible tech ecosystem that prioritizes human thriving and ethical innovation. Studio J Lorne developed a strategic brand platform that sought to unify passionate internal stakeholders with varying priorities. The resulting visual identity system, robust website infrastructure, and adaptable event branding allowed TTWW to stand confidently while seamlessly coexisting with Omidyar Network’s broader work. This foundation amplified TTWW’s ability to align teams, inspire communities, and mobilize action around its bold vision for ethical technology.

TURNING CONVENING INTO OUTCOMES

The Tech We Want knows that the best solutions come from getting the right people together in the right rooms. They call the work “defragmenting the network,” bringing together the people building responsible tech solutions and ecosystem practices to name shared pain and design answers for the people most affected by tech’s failures of oversight. 

From SXSW to Martha’s Vineyard to intimate curated gatherings coast to coast, the result is alignment that travels past the room. Studio J Lorne builds the branded tools that explain the work and help the people in the room engage with it authentically, driving action and building community.
